Elders Walker Glass Limited were at the forefront of double glazing way back to the invention of insulating glass units, many years ago. Manufacturing and glazing techniques have evolved over the years, reducing or eradicating the original high failure rate, down to an acceptable level. We only use B.S. Kitemarked or European equivalent insulating glass units manufactured by Pilkington, Solaglas and System3 for all our supply only, or supply and fit installations.

Insulating glass units are made to order and can take the form of double or triple glazed units. Specialist glasses can be incorporated into insulating glass units to accommodate solar protection, safety considerations, fire resistance, noise suppression, security, or just for helping to improve your house insulation.

For inaccessible or hard to reach windows or doors, self cleaning glasses can be incorporated into the units. We can also apply leaded designs or units with internal mock glazing bars.
